John Galliano by Diptyque is a unique
amalgam of Russian leather, mellow musks, dried herbs and dark bark. Diptyque

John Galliano is dominantly based on
leather. Fine leather purely projected as crimson, smooth and thin Russian
leather that is softened with a birch essence giving a luxury feel of being
both wild and at the same time sophisticated.
At the opening, you will experience a
smooth fragrance of Artemesia to the core along with dried herbs that are
sprinkled with hot ashes. Going down the lane you will explore its hay scented
cumarin notes with a warm smell. Finally the musk will engage you with a hint
of vanilla scent that will bring a soft and an overwhelming expression.
The packaging is extremely eye
catching, reproducing front page of the English newspaper in semi gothic font
published on a sepia background. The Diptyque label runs over as a frame all
round the Galliano newspaper. The two designs complement each other quite well.
